Essential Takeaway: There is enough water.
Please allow me to go on a short personal rant for just a moment. Because I have some kidney issues, I have to drink distilled water. This is the supply of distilled water at my local store. I understand we are all a little scared about the virus that has been going around. I get it. I think I bought out Purell and Moist Wipes long before this hit the shores of our beloved country. My question to you is, why water? Your taps still work. The water supply is not contaminated. The taps will continue to work as you have a cold, the flu, pneumonia, or the wretched pink eye. It will still work with Coronavirus. So, what is the deal with the water shortage? Some of us need it for medical reasons not strictly panic reasons.

This made me think of the scripture in John 4:10. The Savior is speaking to the woman at the well and says “If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.” Thankfully, there are no rations on the Savior. Everyone can feel of His love and participate in his Gospel. He never runs out. There are no empty shelves. So, while you are hoarding water, consider this: Have you hoarded the spirit of God this week with as much intent?
