See your army

Essential Takeaway: Do you need an Eye Doc?

It’s time for another edition of my conference commentary. This week I picked the talk from Sister Michelle Craig. The talk is titled Eyes to See. I loved this talk! LOVED IT. My favorite part was when she told the story about the young man helping the prophet Elisha. The young man was worried because their city was surrounded by the enemy and it didn’t look like there was any way to survive the upcoming battle. The prophet Elisha said to the young man “Fear not; for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.”

Isn’t this reassuring?! I feel so overwhelmed with all of the battles I take on during the day. I have some pretty nasty battle wounds and some defeats hurt more than others. Often times I forget that I am not fighting these battles alone. Some battles don’t even need to be fought! As I gain more experience, I am learning it is important to pick my battles. I am also learning that I don’t have to fight alone. I have family and friends on both sides of the veil that will help me.

Fear not. Have you felt help from those that we can not see?
