Essential Takeaway: Find your inner psychic
Happy Halloween! Last week, my husband and I were able to attend a murder mystery dinner. My character was basically a gypsy/psychic.

I really enjoyed the evening and I tried to play up the “speaking to spirits” part. Since that evening I have thought a lot about personal revelation. I am so grateful for the Holy Ghost. President Nelson has said ” In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost.”
Halloween brings out the monsters! Sadly, there are a lot of monsters in our daily lives and not just in October. For example, how should I deal with my spouse? How do I respond to my children? Where should I live? Where should I work? Should I do laundry today? How much chocolate should a person eat in a single day? We face many monsters dilemmas all day long. A little guidance from the spirit would be helpful.
I have been so blessed to get guidance through the Holy Ghost throughout my life. I am so grateful for the blessing of the temple. There is much more I need to learn about listening to the spirit and understanding Heavenly Fathers will for me.

Be careful not to be deceived by the many voices out there. Unlike a psychic, we can be in tune with our Heavenly Father through the Holy Ghost. I think I have reached the day President Nelson talked about. I can not go a single day without personal revelation from my Heavenly Father. It is a scary world out there!
Have a happy Halloween and watch out for the monsters lurking.
